Frsky D8RSP with PPM and telemetry. I also ordered a DIY tx module that I will install in my Turnigy 9X transmitter.
I have previously written about my try to get the PPM sum from Hobby King HK-TR6A-V2 receiver but it turned out that Hobby King had made some changes so there was no PPM output.
Frsky DIY DHT 8 channel transmitter with D8RSP receiver
So I have now orderer the Frsky DIY transmitter module and a D8RSP receiver which now are on their way from Hong Kong. These to units seems to work great together and they also provide telemetry and can send data like battery power etc. There are two versions of the DIY module, and only one of them offers telemetry, so make sure you chose the right one if you want those features.
The telemetry version is called DHT and is white, the non telemetry is called V8HT and is blue.
I will write more about this when I have it all up and running. Keep your fingers crossed and stay tuned.
